Norman Rankow was born and raised in New York City. He attended SUNY at Farmingdale on Long Island, New York and graduated with an Associate Degree in Applied Science. He also attended and graduated from the Long Island Builders Institute.
After college Norman worked for Contractors Supply Corp. in Long Island City covering the five boroughs of New York City selling equipment to both large and small contractors, in waste handling and scrap operations and other related businesses.
Norman founded Colonial Reproductions, Inc. in 1978 on Martha’s Vineyard where he had summered as a child with his parents in the 60’s. Over the past 2+ decades, he has built the business to the size it is today and is honored to be considered one of the premier General Contracting firms on Martha’s Vineyard.
Colonial Reproductions, Inc. manages and produces high-end projects for architectural firms and owners and maintains the highest of standards and expectations. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and maintain an in-house staff with years of experience in the construction field.
